DOHA – Federal Republic of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Tuesday attended the graduation ceremony of 116 officers from Somalia, Qatar and Jordan who underwent training at the Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air Academy at Al Udeid Air Base, in Doha.
The ceremony was marked by an airshow from the cadets showcasing their skills in aircrafts including PC-21, Super Mushshak trainers, and H-125 helicopters.
The Amiri Air Force also participated in the air show with F-15, Rafale and Typhoon, along with transport aircraft C-17 and C-130, and the Apache, NH-90 Agusta helicopters.
President Mohamud later held a meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani where they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.
