Muqdisho | QOL | March 16, 2016 – Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) who is professionally and independently a member of the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) based in Canada and the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) based in Netherland.
Obviously, we are here confirming our remarks as independent journalist’s organization concerning the independence rights of our sister organization, the National Union of Somalia Journalists (NUSOJ) who is a member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) based in Belgium. This means to measure and defend together our specialist media professionalism at national level and is dedicated solely to the examination of legal media practice operations in Somalia currently.
The Ministry of Information of the Federal Government of Somalia is disturbing the independent of the National Union of Somalia Journalists (NUSOJ) and we are in feeling fear of reprisal after NUSOJ because NUSOJ and its Secretary General Mr. Omar Faruk Osman is doing a grade job to defend Somalia media freedom and to deliver reliable and accurate representations for reporting method of each media freedom violations perpetrator who is under review.
Therefore, within the framework of the Global Media Policy we call in need to send a mutual concern observation plea to the International Media Networks, the International Human Rights Organizations to take a close look our independence rights as journalists associations in Somalia.

Daud Abdi Daud
